Honestly, Pawptrek wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born on a trail, right here in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, NC.
Like many of you, our journey began with a simple frustration. We love our pets – they aren’t just animals; they are our family, our hiking buddies, and the ones who greet us at the door with a wagging tail that cures any bad day. But every time we went out for an adventure, we struggled to find gear that actually worked.
Most of the harnesses we tried were either flimsy and unsafe, or they looked great but left our pups uncomfortable and chafing after just a mile. We felt like we were constantly choosing between style, safety, and our pet’s comfort.
That’s when we decided to do it differently.
We realized that if we wanted something better, we had to build it ourselves. We started Pawptrek with a simple, non-negotiable mission: To create gear that makes adventures easier, safer, and more stylish for pets and their humans.
